Walking With Children offers hope to Honduran children living with HIV/AIDS. Children ranging from newborns to teenagers come to Walking With Children from hospitals, social workers, national charity organizations and by referral. Many are orphans or come from non-traditional families that have endured tremendous hardships. And all embrace the hope of a better tomorrow in their daily battle against this life-threatening disease.

At Walking With Children, we help our HIV/AIDS kids develop a healthy routine that includes school, medical care, chores and play. In providing care and support for these precious lives, we give them a childhood that is as normal as possible, while instilling them with the confidence and life skills they will need as adults. And along the way, we give them hope and loving support in their efforts to keep fighting for their lives.
Walking with Children strives to improve the quality of life for Honduran children living with HIV/AIDS. We provide preventative and restorative health care, nutritional care, a comprehensive education, faith building, child development service and life-work skills to help re-integrate mature children into society. Through our faith, belief in human dignity and our conviction for basic human rights, we champion these children in their quest for a normal life.
