Additional On-going Support

  • In October, 2006 our 20 Honduran volunteers started a "Friends of the Foundation" group to develop and implement a fundraising plan for WWC Honduras
  • There continues to be a group of Honduran volunteers that help to clean the home and care for the gardens monthly.
  • Revolution, a North American advertising agency, designed and financed our marketing materials and created our website as a donation to Walking With Children.
  • In September, 2006 we began a partnership with Heart for Honduras, a Britsh/European Non-Profit Charity which provides support and care to various Honduran organizations through midwifery and medical services, church building, feeding programs, womans bible study and prison ministry.  The director is a board certified nurse midwife who has been serving in Honduras for the past two years.  European donors can donate through this non-profit charity. information@aheart4honduras.co.uk
  • We have 9 groups in different locations throughout the US, Europe and Australia that are raising funds for our foundation.

Who We Serve

In this first year, our goal is to care for up to 6 children living with HIV/AIDS. The physical capacity of our center is 20 children however we plan to start small and increase according to our financial capacity. In the 2nd year our goal is to care for up to 12 children. Our plan is to care for them until they are mature enough to return to society as productive members. We anticipate that time to be different for each child.
