The following events are on the calendar:
Saturday Nov 25 - Fundraising Event at a local Bed and Breakfast in Alma, MI
Tuesday November 28 - Meeting with the Executive Director of Camp Heartland
Wednesday Nov 29 – Presentation to a Global Health Interest Group and selling Honduran coffee at Matt’s Medical school in Wisconsin
Thursday Nov 30 – Presentation to a Global health Interest Group and selling Honduran coffee at Michelle’s Medical School in Wisconsin
Thursday Dec 7 – West Michigan ANAC Christmas party
The following are events awaiting confirmation:
- Fundraiser in Wisconsin
- Fundraiser in Grand Rapids
- Get-together with group from Catholic Information Center
The Phoenix Foundation raised $5,900 at a party held by the Tricoci family on September 30th. The money will be going to purchase capital items needed to open the home. This group of nearly 70 friends and colleagues of Cheryl Tricoci also brought to the party; baby clothing, infant car seats and walkers as donations for Walking With Children. It was a very successful event!
Grand Rapids, Michigan held their annual AIDS walk on September 29th. Therese Althouse had requested that Walking With Children be included in the list of recipient organizations and we are happy to announce that $5,000 will be donated to WWC as a result of the walk. The event raised a total of $50,000 and Walking With Children was one of many very deserving local organizations who will benefit from these donations.

- volunteering for an upcoming fundraising event;
- putting together a mission work team and coming to Honduras;
- setting up a satellite fundraising office;
- hosting a fundraising event in your city;
